I wish Valentine’s Day was a national holiday 🙂 so that I could have all the time in the world to whip up something elaborate for my foodie Valentine. But unfortunately it is not. I still have to work through my busy schedule and wonder whether or not I will be able to make a special treat. If you are sailing in the same boat as me , worry no more as I have one ridiculously simple recipe for you today. It’s cute, delicious , portable and so much fun to make. You don’t have to be an expert cook or a baker to make these pops. With just two ingredients and few minutes you can create these fuss free pops way ahead of time.

We are done with the pie season but truly speaking the cravings aren’t gone yet. With the new year resolution we have started making better food choices . I love the way these bite sized pops are just about right to satisfy your sweet tooth without indulging in a big slice of pie.

Speaking of better food choices did you know that your favorite jelly just got supercharged by goodness of Chia seeds . Have you seen the all new fruit spread collection by Welch’s ? . They are offering two exciting flavors- Concord grapes and Strawberries.  I grabbed Welch’s Chia Strawberry Fruit Spread on my recent grocery shopping at Walmart and couldn’t wait to share this find with you.

Chia seed is an amazing superfood full of omega 3 , healthy fats, fiber , anti- oxidants and so much more.

Having Chia in your favorite jelly is such a brilliant idea by Welch’s . With more than 700 chia seeds per serving you can effortlessly get your daily dose of Chia in the most delicious way. I am happy that Welch’s new Chia fruit spreads contains no high fructose corn syrup. It is also Non-GMO and doesn’t contain any artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. I love how Welch’s Chia Strawberry Fruit Spread is full of texture , crunch and not overly sweet.

Just slather some on your morning toast or roll up in a tortilla and get going.

Or make these mini pie pops for a special someone.

Hello Bhoomika, the recipe for a pie crust is very standard. Flour, cold butter, cold water, and salt. You may look for it online.Thelollipop sticks do not melt or burn in the oven.

I bought lollipop sticks at Walmart and it says to not use in the oven? Can I not seal it completely and insert stick as it cools?

Hello Wanda, Once it cools down, it will be very dry to adhere to the sticks.

Hi, I don’t have an oven. Have a microwave. Can I make them in it. Can you suggest me which oven I should buy. I have never done baking. Thanks.

Hi Meenu , these pops can’t be microwaved and cooked. Do you have 2 in 1 microwave and oven? then you can use convection mode to bake. Which oven to buy depends on your budget .

Now this is my kind of recipe – only 2 ingredients! I’ve always admired these pops when I see them, but thought they would be way too tough for me to make. Thank you for showing me that I could actually do this.
