You know there are very few crowd friendly food’s that are always a hit at any party . Meaning people don’t mind having them again and again. These food options are classic and evergreen.  And this dip my friend  sure falls in this category.

Organizing a party isn’t easy but sure a lot of fun. Food plays the most important role in success of any party. So you gotta act smart . You might go crazy if you try to make everything from scratch . It is important to strike a balance when you are deciding the menu . You gotta plan effortless food ideas which looks impressive too.  Parties don’t have to stress you out , hence having this dip on a menu is definitely a smart move. All you have to do is literally dump store-bought stuff into a pan and layer it. So next time you have guests do consider adding this easy dip to your menu . Ingredients

  • 1 can of refried vegetarian beans* -16 oz can
  • 2 cups prepared guacamole *
  • 1 jar of your favorite salsa – 15 oz jar
  • 1 tub of sour cream- 1.5 cups approx.
  • 1 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup Pico de Galo *
  • 1 cup grated Mexican cheese mix or cheese of your choice
  • Fistful of cilantro or spring onions optional

Instructions

  • In a large tray like 9*13 or 9” round dish layer everything with a spoon as mentioned above .
  • Refer to step by step pictorial given .

Notes

You can increase or decrease the quantity of a layer to your preference .
This recipe can be halved or doubled to suit the crowd .
I made guacamole at home , did not keep it chunky.
It was 3 large ripe avocados scooped and mashed with a fork , salt , pepper, 2 large cloves of garlic grated and 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
You can skip avocados if unavailable
You can use rajma instead of black beans – homemade or store bought. Just blend it until smooth after boiling.
Pico de Galo recipe link mentioned below.
You can use sliced olives, chopped onions and jalapeños as toppings too.
If sour cream is unavailable, hung curd works well.
Can be prepared up to one day in advance and refrigerate until eaten.
