Spring is here , and what is a better way to welcome it than some pinky  floral’s. I can’t get bored of making these gorgeous looking cupcakes. I have already made these four times this month so thought of making a quick buttercream rose swirl piping tutorial .

The very first time I saw them on iambaker and I was in awe . It has been over 4 years I have been making these following this technique.

Follow my easy buttercream frosting and flavor variation recipe – for recipe link click here.

Icing tip used – Wilton 2D and 1M both works great . Any medium size star tip works.

For two tone effect – follow my hydrangea piping tutorial – for recipe link click here.

For super moist and soft eggless vanilla cupcakes – click here for the recipe

Below is a quick tutorial on the same – hope you like it .

Made some hydrangea and 3 d open rose too.

Hydrangea and roses are piped with wilton 2D tip .

These pretty flowers are quick and easy to pipe and surly a show stopper.

Thank you Monika. Yes it’s true buttercream is sweet. But great for piping and decorating. Only 2 cups will not hold the frosting. It will be runny. You should go for whipped cream frosting if you prefer it less sweeter.

    Hi there
just saw your recipe n its mouth watering….but i need some help….
i saw both your recipe for chocolate cake, vanilla cake and the buttercream n they are all amazing….
i wanted to make them for my family but some of my family members are diabetic yet they love cakes
and while making buttercream the cake turns out to be very sweet so can you help me in this because i want to make
your recipe all the time but i dont want the cake n frosting to be very very sweet…..
and also i tried making a lot of eggless cake once i ice it and cut it after a while they tend to scatter or rather break into tiny pieces which is very disturbing as i am unable to get a proper slice of the cake….has it ever happen to you?

will be waiting for your reply….

HI Neha, thank you for reaching out. These cakes and frostings are not diabetic friendly. I will be doing couple of diabetic friendly cakes in coming months . You can have a look at my zucchini chocolate cake which is diabetic friendly. Thank you. I have already answered your dry cake query on my fb page. Let me know if anything else I can help you with.
